These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ConnectEd's childcare management platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account or using ConnectEd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using ConnectEd on behalf of a childcare organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ConnectEd provides:
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
One Account: Each user should maintain only one account.

Special provisions for protecting children's data:
Our Content: ConnectEd and its licensors own all rights to the platform, including software, design, and documentation.
Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to use it for providing our services.
Feedback: Any suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation.
Subscription Fees: Childcare providers pay subscription fees as per their chosen plan.
Parent Payments: Tuition payments processed through ConnectEd are subject to the payment terms set by each childcare center.
Refunds: Refund policies are set by individual childcare centers for tuition. Platform subscription refunds follow our refund policy.
Payment Security: All payments are processed securely through PCI-compliant providers.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONNECTED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for the conduct of childcare providers or the quality of childcare services.
By You: You may terminate your account at any time through account settings.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Data retention follows our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kingston, Jamaica, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
